Rosette Nebula, Interupted…

It was well below freezing for most of last night, with the dew shield and heater tapes working overtime to keep the frost off the corrector plate

And then after an hour or so, the fog/murk decended to ruin the seeing. As such, this is a shortened imaging session, and its something I will be returning to as soon as I can

  1. Hi, Jon here ( was chating to you at greenwitch eairler today)
Just want to thank you for your advice, its much appreciated, as you know astrophotography has a steep learning curve and its far eaiser talking to people rather than reading lots of books.
The other reason for contacting you was to ask you what printer you would reccomend, or what one you use.
    many thanks Jon
